Diesel is an Italian brand of casualwear and accessories for men, women and children, with a focus on jeans. The Vicenza-based company was founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso, who, together with other entrepreneurs from the province, founded an industrial group that owns several brands, including Diesel. The versatility of denim, for daytime and evening fashion, proposed in infinite washes and variations, from washed models to "vintage" jeans decorated with rips and splashes of colour, remains a hymn to fashion and casual.
