Born in 1914 into one of the oldest Florentine families, Emilio Pucci, the Marquis of Barsento, became a fashion phenomenon in the 1950s, thanks to his futuristic vision, which is still reflected in the maison's creations today. The Marquis had himself crowned The Prince of Prints by fashion journalists internationally, won over by his bold and innovative designs, as well as his radical approach to the fashion of the time. In addition to having greatly influenced contemporary fashion, Pucci's legacy still represents one of the fundamental moments of the origin of the made in Italy style, iconic and identifiable are his designs and the strong pastel colors used.
