The Twin-Set brand was born from an all-Italian, and especially feminine, story: its creator Simona Barbieri, originally from Modena, launched a women's fashion collection in the early 1990s, consisting almost exclusively of knitwear. The label quickly achieved great success and expanded, gaining increasing popularity among women who identified with the brand's elegant, refined, assertive, and romantic style. It quickly became a major company, thanks in part to the significant contribution made by the designer's husband, Tiziano Sgarbi, the label's creative director. The Twin-Set line is designed for all women, regardless of age, role, or generation. The brand's three essential categories are: classic Twin-Set, more fashionable and casual Scee by Twin-Set, and finally Twin-Set Girl, designed for little girls.
